Searching for My Green Thumb - A Gardening Tale

Searching for My Green Thumb - A Gardening Tale

My reputation as a gardener who clearly lacked a 'green thumb', was firmly cemented long ago among my family when I managed to not grow a non-fail 'grow your own mushrooms kit.' I accepted that I lacked the patience to nurture nature and the idea of my 'non-green thumb status' was firmly in my head.

To overcome the sense of dislocation and malaise that so many of us experienced as the ups and downs of the pandemic dragged on for the second year, I took online courses, published a book Growing Older Living Younger: The Science of Aging Gracefully and the Art of Retiring Comfortably and launched an eponymous podcast,  Growing Older Living Younger.

Once the book was out and the podcast launched,  I needed  a new hobby so I decided it was time to dispel the myth that I lacked a green thumb by taking on two gardening challenges: Vegetable Gardening on my Patio and  Starting an African Violet Collection and documenting the successes and failures in these two challenges

Here is the index to Vegetable Gardening on my Patio and Starting an African Violet Collection.
