By the way, the picture of the man on the floor is Gordy in the exit passage on the ferry from Cherbourg to Ireland (unfortunately it brought us to the opposite coast from where the Queen Victoria docked). We were ushered off the boat by the head purser who gave us official vests to wear. All this happened in front of 550 passengers who were wondering why we got special treatment. We did make the bus connection, however (it was tight), and the taxi to meet up with the Queen Victoria. Sleeping on the linoleum floor was not like sleeping on a bed on the QV (and no toothbrushes either)!
